  1. Organisation of Central European Exhibition in 2022

The representatives of Romania and Hungary were interested in the organisation of the next exhibitions.

The participants agreed as follows:

The VIII Central European exhibition in 2022 will be organized by Romania

The IX Central European exhibition in 2024 will be organized by Hungary

  1. Representation of Ukraine at international events

The unclear representation of Ukraine at international events has been a reason for the disqualification of the pigeons from this country at the Olympics and European exhibitions for several years. A situation has not been solved at the F.C.I. level since 2014. Representatives of Poland (Krzysztof Kawaler) and Romania (Marius Tunduc), who are acquainted with the real state between the breeders’ associations in Ukraine, were invited to comment. They confirmed unanimously that there are two organizations in Ukraine currently:

Ukrainian National Federation of Pigeon Sports, 1-a Nekrasova st., Gostomel, Kyiv 08289, 2,000 breeders, President Jaroslav Mykhalets,

Ukrainian Confederation of Pigeon Sport Sheptytskiy 23, 58008 Chernivtsi, 50 breeders, President Ivan Bodnarash.

After a detailed explanation of the activities of both associations and the comments of István Bárdos, F.C.I. President, on the reasons for the current registration, representatives of all participating associations expressed full support of the Ukrainian National Federation of Pigeon Sports and of Jaroslav Mykhalets as the official representative of Ukraine. They also asked István Bárdos for an urgent solution and official recognition of this association by the F.C.I. at the February meeting of the F.C.I. Directorate. In a case of delays in these formalities from the F.C.I. site, the representatives of the national associations agreed the Ukrainian National Federation of Pigeon Sports as a representative association for the activities within the Central European Federation.

  1. Charity auctions at international events

Daniel Dudzik, President of Slovakian association, proposed that the charity auctions of pigeons be organized regularly at all Central European exhibitions. Pigeons for this purpose would be offered by all national associations participating in the exhibition. For an appropriate preparation and promotion of this event, it would be necessary to supply documents of these pigeons before the exhibition, together with completed range sheets of the pigeons registered in the collection of the country. The recipient of the funds and its activities would be notified by the organizing association beforehand.

The proposal was approved unanimously.
